From Khajuraho’s temples to the villages of Orchha, everything about the land of Madhya Pradesh is a celebration of Indian culture where you can find a nice blend of nature’s abundance as well as urban landscapes. From Kanha Tiger Reserve to the historic Sanchi Stupa everything about this state is simply spell-binding.
However, with the pandemic, several restrictions were imposed at a national level. Due to these restrictions the whole of Indian economy, especially the travel sector saw a steep fall and these past six months have been mostly about adjusting as per the so-called new normal.
Now, after a series of lockdowns followed by unlocks, the whole country is re-opening in a phased manner. Recently, with the announcement of Unlock 4.0, the Madhya Pradesh government notified about the complete withdrawal of statewide lockdown on Sundays. However, cinema halls and swimming pools will continue to remain shut till September 30.
As the countrywide lockdowns are witnessing a contraction, giving way to more ease for travel and other economic activities, Adotrip, your own desi travel guide has come up with a unique initiative called #TravelAgainIndia with the purpose to inform our users all kinds of good things that have been happening since the pandemic has taken over.
Amid all this, the Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Narottam Mishra in one of his statements said: “There would be no lockdown on Sundays now after the Union Ministry for Home Affairs issued Unlock 4 guidelines.” He also added that “social events, political rallies and sports events with a cap of 100 attendees will also be allowed from September 21 and that there would be no lockdown in the state without the Centre’s permission now. The lockdown can only be imposed in containment zones”.
Taking a cue from this, here are the major Madhya Pradesh unlock 4.0 guidelines:
Now, after about a six-month long gap, the local industries will be able to operate with their full staff capacity which is quite good news, isn’t it?
As the unlock 4.0 is announced, all the open-theatres have been allowed to function as per their normal schedule from the given date, obviously, with strict government regulations and precautions being in place. Apart from these, all the religious places as well as shopping malls have been permitted to open.
This is good news for all the interstate travellers, especially for those who have to travel back and forth for carrying out their economic activities.
Talking about places of social gathering like cinema halls and swimming pools, the local authorities have decided to let them remain closed until the end of this month.
Students from Class 9 to 12 (with the exception of those in containment zones), will be allowed to voluntarily visit their respective schools and seek guidance from their teachers.
So, these were the major highlights from Madhya Pradesh’s Unlock 4.0. At Adotrip, we believe in being ‘vocal for local’, and have taken a pledge to keep bringing you the most useful information related to all things travel.
