By Air
You can consider deboarding at either Mumbai Airport (BOM) or Pune Airport (PNQ) to travel to Lavasa as per your comfort. However, out of the two, Pune Airport is the nearest aerodrome situated about 60-70 km away. The airport has good flight connectivity with other Indian cities and towns via direct and connecting flights. As you get off the airport, book a taxi to reach here; it will approximately cost you INR 2,000 - INR 3,000.

By Train
The nearest railway station is the Pune Junction (PUNE) situated about 60 km away. Situated on the Mumbai-Chennai line, this train station has overall good connectivity with other Indian cities. From the station, you can easily take a cab to reach Lavasa.

The public transportation via road to Lavasa is not very frequent and quite average. However, private buses have good connectivity operating to and fro Lavasa.
