Allahabad, also known as Prayagraj, is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Sarasvati rivers. Allahabad is known for its religious and cultural significance and is particularly famous for hosting the Kumbh Mela, one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.
