Initially, Parwanoo’s name was “Ooncha Parwanoo” and that’s why the name. Right after Himachal Pradesh was recognised as an Indian state on January 25th 1971, Parwanoo started to develop as an industrial township in 1973. Now, it is one of the major townships in Himachal Pradesh.
