Robber’s Cave is basically a river cave formed in the Himalayas about 8 kilometres from Dehradun. It is situated nearby Sahastradhara and is frequented by tourists a great deal.
To visit these caves, the tourists need to trek about a kilometre through Anarwala village. This is truly a perfect location for those who are seeking adventure and thrill as well. Locally, the caves are referred to as Guchhu Pani and some also believe that once these caves were the abode of Lord Shiva the Adiyogi himself.
The caves have been divided into two major sections. Walking a little deep inside, one can also witness the majestic waterfalls.
April to October is the prefered time to visit the Robber's Cave. And while on your visit to this place, don't forget to wear footwear with a strong grip, carry a few snacks as well as a water bottle along. The water can reach up to knee length, thus, be careful while exploring the cave.
