1. Living Root Bridge Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya

The reverse waterfall in Lonavala is a natural phenomenon that one may witness only during the monsoon season. This happens due to high-speed winds that force the water to go uphill against the stream. Well, it might be nature’s way of giving back to nature!

8. Needle Hole Point, Mahabaleshwar

Elephant Head Point or Needle Hole Point is a naturally formed rock of a hill that looks like the head and trunk of an elephant. People visit the place to witness this strange but delightful natural creation and enjoy the view of the Deccan plateau from the top.

What’s most intriguing about this rock is that it’s positioned on the edge of a slope for over 1200 years! Locals believe that it's Lord Krishna’s piece of stolen butter that got dropped!

11. Chandipur Beach, Odisha 

Fondly known as the ‘Hide and Seek’ Beach, this one disappears up to 5km during the hide tide with seawater and reappears during low tide. This magical phenomenon can be witnessed twice in a day.

When water meets limestone it creates Borra Caves similar to the ones present in Ananthagiri Hills. Considered to be millions of years old these caves have rocks like a stalagmite, stalactite, and others.
