Goa is a nice blend of everything sweet and peppy; whether be it its nightlife, people or beaches - everything unfolds itself like magic here. And now, amid the ‘new normal’ when the whole country is re-opening in a step-by-step and phased manner, Goa, as one of the most loved travel destinations in India, is not far behind.
Keeping all these changes and updates happening in our economy, especially in the travel sector, in mind, your desi travel guide Adotrip has come up with an initiative of #TravelAgainIndia. The sole purpose of our initiative is to help you rummage all the latest news related to the pandemic while letting you know which places would be best to travel in the current uncommon times.
Until now, Goa, counted as one of the top holiday places in India, has recorded 16,553 cases out of which 3,646 cases are still active. However, with the implementation of Unlock 4.0, the government is making constant efforts to improve the health condition of the state and several steps are being taken in the same direction as well.
The state government has also allowed the re-opening of bars and restaurants, given that they strictly adhere to the guidelines rolled out by the MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs).
In one of his statements, the Chief Minister of Goa Mr Pramod Sawant said "Bars and restaurants can now be opened, although all SOPs and guidelines will have to be followed. Restaurants, marketplaces, everywhere else social distancing will have to be followed as per the MHA guidelines,"
This is very happy news for the locals as well as the tourists who are planning on visiting Goa anytime soon. For the hoteliers, local bar and restaurant owners, this has come as some relief as they are expecting some surge in overall tourism activities by November or December 2020.
Goa Unlock 4.0 Safety Guidelines: Here are a few highlights which have been implemented from September 1 apart from the re-opening of the bars and restaurants in Goa. These will be followed with the motive to revive Indian tourism which will eventually contribute to the revival of our economy.
With the unlock 4.0 unfolding, Goa will now see the normalcy returning to the streets once again, just like the good old times.
The COVID-19 negative certificates will no longer be required for travelling to the party capital of India. With the relaxations that came with Unlock 4.0, this will also mean that the locals will not be required to go in self-isolation while travelling there.
However, with the relaxations, the authorities will strictly adhere to the norms for social distancing, with all the necessary precautions in place, like wearing masks to checking the temperature of the people travelling within the city.
With this, now all you travel enthusiasts can once again hope to hit the road and kick start your second travel-innings and we say Goa is the perfect place to start out with several destinations to explore like it's beautiful beaches, Aguada Fort, Dudhsagar Falls and many more.
And as we imbibe the philosophy of being vocal for local to the core, you can consider planning your trip to Goa with your own desi Adotrip’s Travel planner tool.
