Situated near the Cannaught Place on Hailey Road which is near Diwanchand Imaging Centre, Agrasen ki Baoli is located right in the heart of Delhi like a memory of the past kept safely in its raw beauty.
This bridge is yet another interesting lesser-known place in Delhi. Back in the day, this bridge, which derives its name from the collection of seven bridges was majorly used for water harvesting. The haveli was established in the memory of the world-renowned Urdu poet Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan who was famously known as Mirza Ghalib. Interestingly, this place was his real home and, even till today, it carries some of his most prominent works. Situated in the Chandi Chowk area, this place has an in-house museum too, that is maintained by the Government of India.
To visit here, you will need to visit Qasim Jan Street, Baradari, Shahjahanabad, Ballimaran, New Delhi.
If you want to get a taste of the historical legends and those glorious stories of Delhi’s past then you should definitely visit the Bhardwaj Lake situated in Asola. Located at Asola Wildlife Sanctuary in New Delhi, this is just the perfect spot for the introverts.
