2. Well
Considered to be 4,500 years old, the well is quite a sight to see. 6.7 meters tall and 2.4 meters wide, the well is a steep whole used to collect fresh water. It was built using radical bricks and consists of a well-connected underground drainage system.
3. Dockyard
Specifically designed so that it could withstand the excess water flow, the dockyard in Lothal was built using fine burnt bricks. The splendid architecture of the dockyard and the tunnel opens up in the river to avoid water clogging. The water locking device is extraordinary and it was so grand that it could easily accommodate 90 huge ships at a time.
4. Citadel
The chief of the city used to live at Citadel which is also known as Acropolis. The houses at the citadel were carefully built on a 3-meter high platform and were provided with all the facilities like an underground den, a private well, and paved paths.
5. Warehouse
One of the most important structures in Lothal is the warehouse. It was used to store a huge amount of objects and hence they were constructed perfectly. It was constructed near the citadel so that the chief could supervise the construction work. The warehouse was constructed by using mud bricks on a 3.5 meters high podium.
