With Unlock 5.0, Kerala Releases Fresh Guidelines Easing the Woes of its Citizens

There is a reason why Kerala is referred to as God’s own country and it is the splendid beauty of this region comprising of the lush waterfalls, picturesque landscapes, thrilling backwaters, and tea-covered hills that attracts hundreds and thousands of tourists here annually. So, it won’t be wrong to say that everything here is simply gorgeous and worth every ounce of your energy. Loaded with several beautiful travel getaways like Devikulam, Jatayu Nature Park, Munnar, Thrissur and so many others, Kerala doesn’t fail to charm the tourists with its magic. 

However, with the ongoing pandemic, these past six months for us humans have been no less than a topsy-turvy ride. And the initial enigma of the lockdowns happening in the past months saw some relief only by the series of unlocks followed by it. Now, with October, as we are entering Unlock 5.0 some additional relaxations have been issued by the government and there is hope for a better future.

Kerala’s Unlock 5.0 Guidelines for Reviving Tourism

1. Strict lockdown to continue in the containment zones with all the proper social distancing measures in place.

2. Another good news is that the centre has allowed the opening of cinema halls along with the multiplexes to operate at their 50 percent capacity.

3. The government has also allowed the operations for Business to Business exhibitions for which SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) will be issued by the Department of Commerce.

4. Air Travel still remains prohibited and along with that entertainment parks and similar places will also remain closed.
